The Bristol Haematology and Oncology Centre (BHOC) opened in 1971 and cares for over 6,500 individuals diagnosed with cancer every year, with up to 1,000 visitors passing through the Centre each day. Above & Beyond’s CaRE Appeal has pledged £1.6 million to transform the patient and visitor experience at the BHOC and the final £500,000 is needed by autumn this year to finish the job!

We have decided to do our part up the in clinical trials unit at BHOC and try and raise £1000 to help make the oncology centre a better, brighter place for patients. On September 5th, we will be running the Bristol Half Marathon and has we haven't done any proper running before, this is proving to be quite a challenge!

So, if you could spare us a pound (or maybe even 2!) we would really appreciate it and for all those of you local to Bristol, you can also come and cheer us on on the day!
