Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Myself and Dan are going to be completing the Club Triumph Round Britain Reliability Run this year in my Triumph Dolomite Sprint AKA Dibby.

This Event will see us travel 2030 miles from London, up the East side of the country to John o' Groats, then across Scotland and back down the West side into Wales, then on down to Lands End and back across the south of England to London. This journey will be completed in 48hours with drivers changing at planned check points and sleeping between driving shifts. Having completed the event in 2014 in my other Sprint I can vouch for it being both very challenging due to the tiredness, but also extremely rewarding.

Dibby has gained a rather unfortunate reputation for spitting the dummy out and deciding that a rest at the side of the road with the bonnet up is the order of the day. I am currently spannering away and fettling things to try and give us the best chance of completing this event without the help of the men in Yellow and their rather nice trucks.

Guide Dogs is a very worthy cause that helps many people with visual impairment to improve their quality of life on a daily basis, so please give generously.

Thank you very much.

Regards

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
