I'm running the 2008 Flora london Marathon on behalf of Team Chaos, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. I lost my brother to cancer aged only 29, so I'd like to give something back to Macmillan, who were a great help to my family.

I'm asking all sponsors to have a guess at the number of heart beats I'll need to complete the event. There is a case of Champagne Palmer, a case of beer from Palmers Brewery, and a bottle of  whisky to be won. Please put your guess in the comments box.

To give you a hint, I estimate that my total will be between 39,000 and 45,000, depending on how hard I run..
