Our goal is to climb the three biggest mountains in the UK all within a
24 hour timeframe.
This project came about between a small group
of friends that decided to set themselves an achieveable, yet
challenging fitness-based target for the summer. Although starting off
as a personal achievement to say "hell yes, i've done the three peaks
challenge!", we had decided to use this as a platform to encourage a
donation drive to a worthy charity of our choosing.

The
plan:
Friday 9th July -
We fly out to Glasgow
International airport, and pickup a 7 seater Ford Galaxy MPV, where we
will then drive upto Fort William, complete last minute preparations and
begin the ascent of Ben Nevis at around 5-6pm
We aim to complete
the first mountain within 6 hours, then drive through the night to
Scafell Pike.
By the time we complete the trek to the top, dawn
should be breaking over England, before we head back down and make the
journey to Mount Snowdon.
We need to complete all of this within a
24 hour window from when we start climbing Ben Nevis!

Special
thanks go to Lisa and James for being our shift drivers, as the
challenge would not be going ahead without their help.
