Thank you so much to everyone who is supporting us through encouragement, donations and completing the challenges with us! All your wonderful support has helped us beat our original target and our year of challenges in memory of dad/ Howard is almost over!
The challenges began with Egerton School completing a 'Kirkathon' in memory of dad. Then followed the National Three Peaks Challenge in under 24hrs, 120mile cycle in a day, Derby Triathlon, The Great North Run and Conwy Half Marathon, the Twilight Chester Walk, and a 53mile ultra-marathon across the Lake District and 10k Arley Run! 12 hour open house, 150 coast to coast cycle taking in Kirkham and Kirkham. The London Marathon was the final challenge which Sara and Richard completed on 26th April with smiles all the way round and completing it in a great time!!
Your donation has really helped us smash this goal further in memory of our husband, Dad and Grandpa who was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM) in January 2013. He lived life to the full until he lost his fight on 17th April 2014. We are also raising money for East Cheshire Hospice as a thank you for the love and care they showed Howard in his last few days!!
