We are a ladies rowing crew that have entered for the Row Britain Challenge 2013 to raise funds for Cancer Research UK to assist in the charity's fight against cancer. We all have friends and family that have been affected by cancer. We start off from Tower Bridge, London on 1 June 2013 with aim of beating the current women's world record of rowing around the mainland of Britain of 51 days, 16 hours and 42 mins. The row is non-stop and unassisted meaning the crew and the the supplies have to be on the boat as they start off. We will row 2 hours on, 2 hours off where tides and weather allows for 24 hours a day, until we arrive back at Tower Bridge, having negotiated major shipping lanes, tides, currents and whatever the weather can throw at us.
