Laura is raising money for the Batten Disease Family Association. Laura knows all too well how devastating it is to have Batten Disease. She was diagnosed with the disease in 2009 at the age of 9.
Batten Disease is a group of rare, progressive neurodegenerative, genetic metabolic diseases that occur in children & adults worldwide. The BDFA's vision is to bring light to Batten Disease by being the central point of excellence in the UK for supporting affected families and to facilitate research into the disease.
