Daniel was a gentle giant (6' 8'') of fun. Daniel was only 39 when he died in 2010. His life was cut short devastatingly quickly by his illness, leaving his family wanting to do something positive to remember him by. Consequently, a group of family and friends challenged themselves to a 39 mile walk (IN ONE DAY!) in memory of Daniel.
WE DID IT!! We had a fantastic walk, along the Brecon Canal, starting 6.30am and finishing at 10pm. Rain was a bit unkind in the morning but we got through it! Loads of support from friends and family. A few aching muscles and a couple of blisters but what a fantastic atmosphere! Everyone has been so lovely. THANK YOU for your support.
NOW we have a NEW challenge!! We hope to produce a 2013 charity 'male nude' calendar to raise even more money for MacMillan. We already have willing male models and have begun photographing!
