Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

Team Solarfox from UCL has designed a solar powered racing car to compete as the only British entry in the gruelling 3,021km Panasonic World Solar Challenge across the Australian Outback. This follows the Stuart Highway from Darwin to Adelaide, (the equivalent of driving from here to Syria!), racing at speeds of up to 120 km/hr against international leading universities and organizations.

It is the wish of the team to use their involvement also to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH), as team members Richard and Nicki’s little boy had his life saved by the excellent Cardiac Intensive Care team there.  Please note, none of the money donated through this site will support the car, it is all for GOSH.  Please give generously – it all helps!

Have a look at www.teamsolarfox.com to check on our progress in the race

Many thanks for your support.
