Story
2014 is 100th year since the start of World War 1
Therefore are part of that Chris Miffy Smith and his great friend and wing man Dodge Lambert have decided they would like to raise awareness of the great work carried out by the Royal British Legion. They provide fantastic support to safeguard the memory of those who have given their lives for our freedom through Remembrance education and events but also to serving members of the Armed Forces, ex-Service men and women (veterans), their families and dependents all year-round.www.britishlegion.org.uk
The highlight of their fund raising attempts will be in the summer. When they attempt a 9 day road trip around the UK in a little classic sports car, visiting all of the 51 Thankful Villages. As well as calling in at some of the Royal British Legions on going projects along the way. Also knowing Miffy and Dodge there will be an large helping of craziness along the way too.
They will also be hoping with your support to raise a whole heap of cash to help the RBL with their great work.
They will also be completing a few other motoring challenges, as well as collecting donations at a large number of car shows and event across the UK, that they and their little MG spots car will also be attending in 2014. Please see our events page to find where we will be.
It is right to give thanks and praise to all of the men and women that have for many generations protect us!
