My personal message:

Dear friends,

As you may or may not be aware I've somehow found myself in the slightly peculiar situation whereby I'm due to be dropped by helicopter into the jungles of Borneo this November, and will be made to partake in a brutal British Military Fitness challenge.

How I've landed myself in this is still a bit of a mystery to me, but it has been arranged in conjunction with JWT and is all in aid of Raleigh International - a fantastic charity that supports community projects around the world with the help of volunteers.
