We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

As many of you know, Len Wallace has had a tough 2013 year battling cancer. If you don't know him already, he is commonly know by all The Centre staff and customers as Uncle Len.

Husband of Fiona Wallace, Dad to Fee Wallace, Brother-in-law to Jennifer and Uncle Len to Heather and almost everyone else who knows him.

We wanted to do something special in his name to raise funds to help this charity in some small way. When we heard about Dryathlon we just KNEW that was the perfect way to raise money.

Due to his condition, Len has not had a drink of alcohol himself for over 150 days so we thought that us doing without alcohol for 30 days was the least we could do to show him our support. He hasn't eaten, drank or spoken in that time but he is a real fighter and we all expect to celebrate his wellness with a glass of champagne at some point in the near future.

We would really appreciate if you could help us in even the smallest way, we would love to smash our target and then tell Len what we have done.

Fiona and Heather have joined The Centre Scotland Dryathlon Team and we expect more people to join to raise sponsorship each day in the run up to 2014. We can't thank you enough for your help, Love and Respect x
