Story
Over at i-level towers, 10 Levellers have signed up for a Community Challenge which is being organised by NABS and Habitat for Humanity.
Habitat for Humanity run housing projects in some of the poorest parts of the world, and we will be working with them on one of their projects in India, just outside of Bangalore.
We will be working with the local people living in the area during our time there. By doing this we will be providing employment to the local people, we will be supporting the local economy by staying in local acommodation and eating locally. But most importantly we will be helping to provide much needed housing for people very much in need of it.
Just some of the work we will be doing will involve:
Digging Foundations, Manually pressing cement blocks, Laying Bricks, Mixing Cement, Forming Latrines and Plastering to name just a few.
As you can imagine, this is a far cry from our usual days spent in our funky offices, being lunched by our media owner friends, and hitting the local hostelry with our media colleagues after work.
Some of the reasons we have signed up for this challenge:

We have a huge target we aim to reach, and any help and support you can give is will be very much appreciated.
Thank You
