Story
As a group of friends we decided earlier this year to take on two distinctly different cycling challenges in memory of a great friend who passed away a year ago due to cancer. These challenges are now taking place in the next few weeks.
Nathan Jones wanted the luxury of a "support" bus to follow him so he is taking on a 5 day 'international' challenge and cycling from Yorkshire to Paris. Jim Mundye, Kieran Baker and Michael "Wiggo" Taylor are taking on the marathon 140 miles to Nowton challenge. They have completed this before over two days, but never in just one day!
We started training for our events in May, and after agreeing to meet up 3 times per week at a local fish and chip shop central to all, (hard to keep Nathan out at times) we soon decided to dedicate a team name based on our meeting place and to create one group in order to raise money for Cancer Research UK. Over the course of the last 3-4 months we have all cycled hundreds and hundreds of miles spurred on by the memory of our great friend Andrew "Buddha" Hunt who sadly passed away a year ago.
We kindly ask you to support our respective challenges which will collectively raise money for a great charity.
