Nykie, Jacqui, Sue and Mandy are doing the 5k Santa Dash in Liverpool on December 7th 2008 (2 days after the Millbank Christmas Do!). It's a fun run, in a santa suit, so don't expect any fast times!

As a lot of people at Millbank know, our colleague Andy Bird's son Alfie was born with an illness and, although the full extent is yet to be diagnosed, it's looking as though Alfie will need full-time care.

So we've chosen to do some fundraising for a charity that is based in Chester and offers support to children who have brain injuries, whether they're genetic or through injury. It's a place where people can go to get help, respite or related care and support. Co-incidentally, it's also called 'B.I.R.D'.

So, although we know that it's nearing Christmas, dig deep and help families and children who are in a situation like Alfie's. And get to laugh at pictures of us in our Santa suits!
