Story
On the 2nd April (yes, my birthday 
), I will be departing Portsmouth's Student Union and heading off to Holland to raise money for some great charities, by trying to blag lifts from strangers!
I will be accompanied on my trip by fellow student and member of the Portsmouth People and Planet Society, Matt Blackall.
Here are the charities that are in need of lots of money from you:
The Orchid Cancer Appeal is a charity dedicated to fund research into diagnosis, prevention and treatment of prostate, testicular and penile cancer.
The CP Centre is a local charity that helps disabled people, their families and carers here in Portsmouth.
People and Planet is a student organisation that campaigns on World Poverty, Human Rights and the Environment.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the charities will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
If I manage £250 in sponsorship, we'll be travelling in costume, so please dig deep if you want to see the pictures of me looking like a fool!
