Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
We are all running the Edinburgh Marathon 2010 Team Relay on 23 May to raise money for B-eat, the eating disorders charity.
We are running in support of our daughter/sister Laura and all the other thousands of young people and their families whose lives have been turned upside down by these terrible illnesses.
We have first hand experience of the good work B-eat is doing to challenge the stigma that people with eating disorders face and their campaign to improve treatment and healthcare services for sufferers nationwide.
If you are affected by an eating disorder, or someone you love or care about is caught up in one, it's hard to believe the illness can be beaten - and unfortunately in many cases it can't. Eating disorders are not a diet gone wrong or a fad or a fashion. They are very serious illnesses which affect the lives of literally thousands of young people and their families. But they can be beaten if the right care and advice is available at the right time.
So please dig deep and donate now.
