Why are we running?  

We started running after work in an effort to try and get fit.  Foolishly, we agreed that we should take part in a half marathon to show off our improved endurance and stamina! 

As a group we entered into the Great North Run and wanted to support a great charity that provides help to people in terms of curing a horrible disease. 

All of us personally know people that have been affected by breast cancer and the result that this has on their families and friends.  Unreseveredly, this became our first choice of charities to run and raise money for - plus don't the boys look great in pink!
