This year as a family we are aiming to raise at least £1000 for CAN. The organisation is doing amazing work out in Nepal - a country we've both visited and love and we are keen to support them in any way we can. 

Paul is about to embark on The Great Outdoors challenge - a 200 mile self supported walk across Scotland and we'd love your support. 

As a family we are going to do a number of fundraising activities to reach our target throughout the year. 

Our aim is to take the children out to Nepal in the future so they can experience first hand the communities and way of living in Nepal and over time we hope to volunteer as a family on the ground.

A few examples of how far your money will go in Nepal:

£1,000 fully funds the annual salary of a Health Post worker. 

£300 buy's books and equipment for a school for a year.

£180 pays for everything needed to set up a model garden.

£72 pays for farmer training to promote the best farming practices in remote villages.

£25 pays for enough seeds to start growing over 30 vegetables.

£10 pays for 5 fruit trees to create a small orchard.
