Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
After four years tour of duty in the City, I decided to follow my dreams, take a year off and travel by bike around the world. You can imagine that after four years in front of a PC (and living in East London), I am "bit" out off shape so it won't be easy and I will suffer. But I am confident to make it since I got a heart of a viking, my father's iron will and hopefully soon an iron buttock as well.
As warm-up I will cycle from Germany to Morocco. Then I will fly to Alaska to cycle down to Mexico and, so my knees hold, I will continue after a short break in Fidji in New Zealand. I ride my iron horse in the name of Unicef UK, a trustworthy organization supporting children in need across the globe. I would be very grateful if you take out your bulging wallet and sponsor my charity and give credit to the epic ride.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So please lean back, enjoy my suffering on http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=104483829585810 or on http://travelpod.com/members/tobiasmuente, dig deep and donate now.
Thank you in advance.

The deed is done. After more than 8 months and 16,000km I arrived in Invercargill. The experience was fantastic. Thanks to all the people who supported the cause, who helped me on the road and who shared my paths.
BTW: DB will match all contributions of their employees.
