Firstly I’d like to thank you for your interest in sponsoring me for my 252 mile bike ride. I will be doing the race in aid of the Help for Hero’s Campaign.

 Help for Heroes is a charity set up to provide help and rehabilitation for Britain’s wounded servicemen. Since its birth in October 2007 it has been hugely successful and has raised over £2.5 million. It is a very honorable cause and, so please help to keep it going. This is a change from what I originally proposed, for that I apologize. As I am not able to do the Canoe race for several reasons, I have decided to cycle the route there and back again. I will also be supporting the other crews who are doing the race.

So I will cycle the first 126 miles over 4 days in support of the crews. Then on the 4th day of the race when the crews finish I will turn around and cycle the total 126 miles back to Devizes from Westminster. I apologize to those who have already sponsored me, for the Canoe race, however I hope that this will be a big enough physical challenge in itself for you to not feel that your money is unjustified.

The training that I have done has been hugely rewarding and it would be fantastic if we could reach £3000 target, so all donations will be gratefully received.
