Hi,
Thanks for checking out our fundraising page.....
Our friend Christopher Tickle sadly passed away at the young age of 23 in 2009, 3 weeks after suffering a neck injury during a rugby match playing for his beloved team Eccles RFC.
Since then his family have set up 'The Christopher Tickle Fund' in his memory and have raised more than £33,000 for their chosen charity 'The Nicholls Spinal Injury Foundation', which has gone on to support valuable research into spinal injuries.
As we are 'avid' runnners, we thought it would be fitting to take part in the Bupa Great Manchester Run 2011 in memory of our wonderful friend Chris and hope to raise (with your help) even more money for the charity which Chris' family and friends have taken to their hearts.
Please give what you can and we will do our upmost to make Chris and all who knew him proud!
Thank you so much,
Paul & Helen
