Thanks for visiting my fundraising page
On 14th September 2008 I am running my first Robin Hood Half Marathon. I have decided to run the marathon in aid of The Meningitis Research Foundation and in memory of a little boy called Elliot Donkor Winch. He was the son of my friend Jamie who we lost to this devastating illness in 1999. Elliot was a beautiful and thoughtful little boy who lost his short battle with the disease aged just three years. His memory will live long in the lives of all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. The work carried out by the Foundation is ongoing as there are 3,500 reported cases of the disease every year. With 1 in 10 people dying as a result. Please will you therefore consider sponsoring me however much you can afford for what I believe is a worthy cause and in memory of a lovely little boy.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Meningitis Research Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
