We deliver HIV education through football to create lasting change for young Africans

Story

Hi Guys,

Thanks for visiting my page. I'm now going to tell you what I will be doing in Africa and why you should sponsor me.

During the month of October I will be coaching football to children in Zambia. Zambia, in southern Africa, has one of the world’s most devastating HIV and AIDS epidemics. One in every six adults in Zambia is living with HIV and life expectancy at birth has fallen to just 42 years. This has compounded Zambia’s existing economic problems. In four decades of independence, Zambia has found peace but not prosperity and today it is one of the poorest and least developed nations on earth.

I will be volunteering my time to coach and I will be representing a charity called Tackle Africa.

.....TA's mission is
..."Using football to reach young people in Africa to increase their understanding of HIV and AIDS and enable them to live safe and healthy lives.

This is exactly what I will be doing and by sponsoring me, you will be helping children and young adults to learn more about HIV/AIDS including ways to prevent infections and if HIV +, how to keep healthy and maintain a meaningful life.

So please sponsor me now! Any donation is much appreciated.

Thanks Guys,

Tim
