I am, you will know well, not competitive. Just not there, the ol' desire to win. The desire to sit down and let someone else take all the glory may be upon me mere yards from the off, in fact - but on this occasion, I am happy to strap on ill-fitting lycra and alice-band back the flop with my sunnies and keep wheezing along for 10K in the Bournemouth Bay Run, Sunday April 3 2011. For this worryingly energetic sea-front outing is not really for me.
