As some of you already know, Caro and I are going to walk the Northumberland coastal path in a week for fun and to raise some money for a charity we like. We are doing it with friends: Henry and Alison Mattinson.
The trek is 64 miles long, we will be averaging around 9.2 miles per day, come rain or shine. We are raising money for AfriKids - a child rights organisation, which works with the local people in Ghana to improve the quality of life for children. It helps the community help itself, giving access to basic education and health care for all. It has won the Third Sector Excellence Awards in 2007 and is, I think, a worthy charity.
Please sponsor us, any amount will make a big difference. :-)
Thanks to all so far, I am amazed! :-o :-)
