Dear All,
Last year I asked for your support on behalf of TreeHouse, a North London based national charity for autism education. With your generous help considerable funds were raised to assist the construction of a new permanent educational facility. In return I subjected myself to six gruelling yet enjoyable days climbing the 5,895 feet of Mount Kilimanjaro, without a red nose or celebrity pampering!
TreeHouse continues to rely exclusively on charitable donations to support its educational and developmental endeavours and their ongoing financial commitments are significant.
With this in mind I have undertaken to submit myself to an even more arduous challenge, The 2009 London Marathon on Sunday April 26th. Offering considerably less spectacular views, a lot more pain and frankly the chance to humiliate myself in front of several million people!
Your support will be hugely appreciated by both myself plus the staff, children and parents involved with TreeHouse.
Finally, if you have an interest in food, wine and/or cooking I have coersed my little brother Chris into hosting a cooking demonstrations to be held on Sunday May 3rd at our house in Muswell Hill. Places are limited to 12 per event and will be followed by lunch and wine compliments of The Barbers (I will even taxi local guests home!). Chris has an exceptional catering CV including 11 years as the personal chef to the Prince of Wales! suffice it to say he has plenty of anecdotes to accompany his cooking demonstration. Feel free to check out his credentials via this link: http://www.leithsfoodsolutions.com/cv-cnb.asp
Please let me know if you would like to participate in the above. In return for attendence I would suggest a minimum donation to TreeHouse of £250 per person.
Thanks again in advance for your support - Tim
