Story
Hi Everyone.
Many thanks for your support for my little escapade in London. What a carnival it was - shouting and screaming all the way round the route - and that was just the wife!!
At registration, I picked up a 3hr 20min pace wrist band - perhaps optimistically but I had been feeling good in training over the last month. Much to mine and everyone else's surprise I managed a time of 3 hours 15 minutes! What's more, the ensuing attack of cramp 10 minutes after finishing made sure that I also won the 'best dying fly' impression of the day! (much to the amusement of my 2 kindly training partners in the picture)!
I chose to run for the Alzheimer's Society because my father, Arthur Sullivan, recently passed away having suffered with this debilitating disease for a number of years. Sadly, with a growing elderly population, Alzheimer’s disease will become more common in the future, so I believe that any help with research is a worthy cause. If you can make any donation, it doesn’t have to be much, your support is warmly welcomed – you’re a star!!
Thanks again for all your support and generous donations. I'll keep this page live for a while so if you know anyone who knows me - go on - badger them to visit this site!
All the best
Tim
