Story

Thanks for visiting this page.

I originally entered the 2009 Belfast Marathon to raise funds for Born Too Soon, a charity based at Kingston Hospital which supports the Neo-natal Unit and parents of babies who spend time there.

I had to pull out of the 2009 marathon through injury, and Born Too Soon was very grateful to those who sponsored me anyway.  Not wishing to leave the job unfinished I started training again as soon as recovery allowed and have entered the 2010 event on 3 May.

Daniel and Patrick were born on 6 April 2007 at 29 weeks, and spent 8 weeks in the unit. They have just had their third birthdays and are a constant and exhausting reminder of how lucky Alison, I and they are to have benefited from the facilities and from the dedication of all the staff at the Neo-natal Unit, including of course Christine at Born Too Soon.

If you decide to donate - on behalf of Born Too Soon many thanks indeed. More information about the charity can be found at www.borntoosoon.org.uk/.
