This will be the second time I participate in a Macmillan London to Paris Cycle Ride. I raised £1600 in 2008, and enjoyed myself so much that I am going to do it all again from 8th to 12th July 2009.

On a serious note I have learnt a lot about Macmillan and their activities, both personally and in general. I have been shocked to discover that Macmillan's vital work helping those with cancer to cope with, and even enjoy, their life is funded only by charitable donation. I don't think it should be that way but while it is I will strive to help by raising money for the charity.
