Story
Tippitoes and Baroo are proud to be supporting CLICsargent this year for children with cancer. Every day 10 families are told the devastating news that their child has cancer. CLIC sergeant is the only charity offering them care and support, every step of the way.
The event this year is a 5 day Team Sheene motorcycle ride, in memorial of Ex racer Barry Sheene who tragically died of cancer.
In the last 5 years bikers have raised over £500,000 for the charity, this money has been used towards CLICsargents work with children and young people with cancer. We are hoping that we can gain as much sponsorship as possible for this worth while cause.
Andy Payne from Baroo said “As a biker, for me this event is a fantastic way for us to raise money for such a worth while cause. Cancer is a disease we are all aware of and for me as parent of young children, been able to help raise money for cancer is fantastic. We are hoping that everyone in the trade will be able to help support children with cancer and sponsor us as much as they can. Tippitoes will be donating £1000 please help us to help those children with cancer.”
The Challenge commences on the 22nd – 26th June 2011 Andy Payne from Baroo will be riding his motorcycle 900miles in 5 days which will end at the classic Assen Moto GP. The route rides through France, Belgium, Germany and Holland on open continental roads and visiting classic circuits along the way.
