Story
Starting in July Tom, Alex and Charlie are going to attempt to drive from Goodwood in Sussex through France, Belgium, Germany, Lichtenstein, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Turkey, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan then back in to Kazakhstan and Russia and finally into Mongolia. This is a trip of a little over 14,000 km which would be fun to do in lets say a Range Rover or other suitable 4x4...but we didn't think that would be fair challenge, so instead we are doing it in a 2001 Renault Clio with a faulty speedometer which cleverly has been lowered (perfect for the flat Mongolian roads!!)
We would appreciate it greatly if you sponsored our trip which we are doing in aid of the Christina Noble Childrens Foundation (CNCF) & Help for Heroes. CNCF aims to 'give children their lives back' in areas such as Mongolia where child abuse, poverty and labour is strife. CNCF works alongside other organisations to give children a chance to for example spent some time in their Ger Villages situated throughout Mongolia where they can lead what we would expect to be normal lives. Help for Heroes is a charity that helps injured soldiers on their return from service. They are a charity close to all our hearts and do a fantastic job in trying to help injured servicemen and women get back on their feet and get their lives as close to normality as possible.
