We support disadvantaged 11-30 year olds to get their lives on track.

Story

What we've signed up for ...

We will be spending an exhausting ten days in Costa Rica, racing from the Pacific Ocean coast to the edge of the Carribbean Sea to raise vital funds for the UK's leading youth charity, The Prince's Trust. We will be undertaking a 147km bike ride and a 26km hike, climbing over 2,500 metres in total.  This will be followed by 30km of white water rafting and ending with 40km of sea kayaking, all the time competing against many other teams.

What we need to raise ...

The Costa Rica Coast to Coast Challenge for The Prince's Trust takes place from 7. - 16. March 2008 and each of us will need to raise at least £3,000 AND for every Pound donated Siemens has agreed to also donate a Pound. So the more money you give, the more money Siemens has to pay!!!! Also, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

How we'll prepare ...

To prepare for the challenge we have an intense training schedule to follow (we will keep you updated if Tom will really run the suggested half-marathon and how often Helene will manage to fall of her bike during training sessions).

And finally ...

Please dig deep and help us support The Prince's Trust.
