Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Running the Flora London Marathon is probably the biggest challenge I've ever taken on, so any support you can give me either personally or through a donation will be gratefully received.
I've chosen to run the Marathon to raise money for Arthritis Research Campaign (arc) who are a charity I want to strongly support. The reason for this is that they are working towards a cure, and in the mean time helping, arthritis suffers such as my 11 year old brother (technically half-brother) Isaac.
Isaac was diagnosed with Polyarticular Arthritis and Crohn's Disease last year and as a result was very ill and in lots of pain for a few months. Thankfully both these diseases are being controlled by medication and diet, which appear to be having good effects at the moment. Unfortunately both these conditions currently have no cure, so I decided to help raise money for arc so I hopefully won't see Isaac suffering again.
I have only been running for 15 months, so to those of you supporting me in my quest and to help stop Isaac's suffering, or someone you may know, THANK YOU!
Before I go, a big shout out to Kidlington Running Club for firstly giving me the club entry and secondly providing guidance and encouragement since joining the club. Also thanks to Matthew Arnold School who have accepted my proposal to adopt arc as a charity they will raise money for this year, as well as the 6th form who have pledged to help me and not disappointed. (keep up the good work!)
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Arthritis Research Campaign will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks again for your support!
