At SSA we are currently raising money for equipment called rotablation for the hospital in Carlisle. It's like a drill that clears calcium from patients arteries.  In Cumbria patients needing rotablation have to be transferred to Newcastle or Middlesborough which can involve a wait for a bed and a long drive.

We want patients to be close to family and close to home.  The hospital needs to raise funds to buy the equipment and then for consumables after the initial outlay.
