Event: Asics Reading Half Marathon 2009, on 29 March 2009
We are radically advancing research to achieve a life free from epilepsy

Story

As many of you will know I ran the Great South Run in October 2008 in memory of my friend Jordan who died over a year ago. I managed to raise over £2000 for this, but I am now planning to keep increasing on this. On March 29th 2009 I will be running the half marathon in Reading, so further than the Great South Run.

It would be much appreciated if you could sponsor me and keep this total going up and up. Thanks guys!!!!

The reason behind me putting my unfit body through this torture is in memory of Jordan Boyce. Jordan  (see in picture) was a normal 18 year old who went to Dane Court Grammar School Broadstairs. Although a year younger than me I knew him extremely well through music and CDT. Sadly Jordan died very suddenly away at Coventry University last December.  Jordan was studying Paramedical Sciences.

I want to try to raise some money in his memory for the charities that have supported his family and friends. But also we want to raise awareness for Epilepsy as the more it is known about and raised the less young people like Jordan will die. He played a big part in everybodies life and we want to prevent other people from going through similar things by supporting those that research it and raise awareness.

So please give generously!!!

Jordan wanted to save lives, and so can you!!!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Epilepsy Research UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!
