Story

Hi Everyone

As you know, our son Tom was born with a serious heart condition and had heart surgery in February 2008 at Great Ormond Street Hospital, after which he was looked after by wonderful nurses and doctors in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and then Ladybird Ward.

We can not speak highly enough of all the amazing people at GOSH, and the fantastic care that they gave to Tom, and also to his mum and dad.  We are so grateful for all the support we have received from GOSH since Tom was born and wanted to try and give something back, so I am running the Windsor half marathon on September 21st to try and raise some money for them.  I am not anticipating doing this in a good time - having a small person take over your life rather restricts your time to train, but I will at least get round!

So... Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSHCC) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.

Catherine (and Simon and Tom)
