Story

This year I am attempting to become the youngest person to walk to the South Pole solo.

My expedition training incorporates dragging tyres to replicate the weight of my sledge.

Throughout the COVID 19 Lockdown, I am attempting to complete a backgarden tyre drag marathon. Dragging my tyres (weighing around 13 stone) for a full marathon in my back garden. I hope to raise £300 for the Great Ormond street COVID 19 Emergency Appeal.

What is the emergency appeal funding?

As GOSH plays a role in the national response by treating more children from hospitals across London, resources will become increasingly stretched.

Immediate support from the Charity focuses on responding to equipment needs, supporting staff health and wellbeing, and helping the Hospital meet demands on its patient and family support service.

About the charity

We fundraise to enhance Great Ormond Street Hospital’s ability to transform the health and wellbeing of children and young people. Donations help to fund advanced medical equipment, child and family support services, pioneering research and rebuilding and refurbishment.
