Story

Update:
Just returned from the trip which was a good laugh and with a great bunch of people...
although the weather!!! It would have been wiser to swim the ring of Kerry I think! It poured down frequently and we had a force 8 gale for the last 2 days which was amusing seeing as were camping!... and the wind!!!! let's just say it's the 1st time in my life that I've had to peddle hard while going down-hill to stop myself from going backwards

*****************************************************************
Those of you who know me will testify that I'm a bit of a freak!  as I actually enjoy things that most 'normal' people wouldn't dream of, and certainly no self-respecting DJ should ever consider    I actually enjoy extreme physical exercise!!  and for the past 6 years always do something to raise money for charity which have included cycling across India, New Zealand & Cuba, abseiling down a tower block in central London, skydiving 15,000 feet, bunjee jumping and running the New York marathon.
Well this year I'm taking it easy as such and will only be cycling around the Ring of Kerry (cue the jokes about who is Kerry anyway?   ) in aid of raising funds for the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association.

The photo to the left is my mums guide dog, named Bradley. He's been an absolute godsend to her and she thinks the world of him. You just can not imagine the enormous difference a Guide Dog can make to the life of a visually impaired person!

I'm off to Eire on Sept 11, will have a couple of days in Dublin before flying to Cork on Sept 14 and will begin the bike ride the following day.

Much obliged if anyone has a couple of pounds burning a hole in their pocket   even if you’re only able to sponsor me a fiver. You can do so securely on this site

Finally, thank you for visiting my fundraising page

If you're an Arsenal fan or you know someone who is please visit http://www.arsenalcd.co.uk to find details of a very special Arsenal CD created to raise funds for the Guide Dog association. This CD will be updated in late 2006.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Guide Dogs will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support.
