We breed and train guide dogs to give blind people freedom and mobility

Story

I am not one of these people who loves dogs and hates cats.  I love them both.  But I wouldn't trust my life to a cat.

The special relationship between dogs and humans that has evolved over the millennia is remarkable in all its forms.  And there is nothing more special than the trust that exists between a guide dog and its owner.

Without my eyesight I could not work or enjoy my cycling.  I can't imagine what it would be like to loose it.  That is why it is important to me to support the work of the Guide Dogs charity.  Not only are these dogs entrusted with the safety of their owner.  They provide companionship and love too.

Please support me in raising as much money as possible for this great cause.  You never know I might even get the cat next door to sponsor me...

The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.
