On the 26th January 2007, I will be embarking on a epic fundraising challenge - to ski 150,000 vertical feet in 6 days!  Why am I doing this?  Have I finally lost the plot? No, the objective of this exercise is to raise a minimum of £10,000 for Scope.

As you may know, I have three children and touch wood, all three are in perfect health. However, I was shocked to learn that one child is born with cerebral palsy every six hours. A frightening fact, I'm sure that you will agree.

The funds raised from this challenge will help Scope to continue running their vital services which are designed to support disabled people in every aspect of their lives from birth through to adulthood. Scope's aim is that disabled people achieve equality in everyday life.

Scope is presently only able to reach one in four people who need help. I need your help to ensure that Scope can reach more people. I have pledged to raise £10,000 for Scope. To set the ball rolling, I have donated the first £200 and The Stroll Group have donated a further £1000. I need to find at least another £8800 to reach my objective, or put another way, 176 people/organisations who agree to donate £50.
