We are raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support, Tony Delahunty, Mansfield 103.2's Managing Director, is attempting to complete a marathon 26.3 mile walk around Mansfield, Ashfield and Bolsover on Friday 10th September.

Along the course of the walk Tony will be joined by several people walking along with him, ranging from Macmillan nurses to other members of the team here at Mansfield 103.2.

The reason for choosing Macmillan to raise the money for is simple. They do such a fantastic job for so many families and individuals throughout the country and within our local community and none of this is Government funded. Everything they do is paid for by charity donations and if we can help them to continue with their amazing work to help just one more family then it is worth it.

Macmillan Cancer Support provide the kindness and support that families and individuals need at such a heart breaking time in their lives and they carry it out with such dignity and caring that is not often seen.

We are very proud to be raising money for such a good cause.
