My grandfather benefitted greatly from the support and work the Guide Dogs for the Blind do. Being totally blind but still very mobile, they helped match him to a number of dogs, as well as other things to support his family. As a youngster I used to help out at events and fundraising with my grandfather. 

I am doing this as I needed a challenge for myself, and this is also a great way for me to raise much needed funds for the Guide Dogs for the Blind. Their ongoing work and support providing mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people. They also campaign for the rights of people with visual impairment, educate the public about eye care and fund eye disease research.
