Story
Hello and thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page!
On Fri 11th Sept, a team of four friends are setting off on an adventure (race) to Barcelona. Whilst doing the challenge we hope to raise £800+ for our chosen charity the “Maria Watt Childhood & Teenage Leukaemia” (MWCTL).
MWCTL, a private self supported charity, was set up in 2005 and raises awareness for teenagers who suffer from Leukaemia. Leukaemia is the second biggest killer of teenagers. MWCTL aim is to make every teenager and parent aware of the symptoms of Leukaemia. Your kind donation will go towards building units at all NHS hospitals allowing teenagers a comfortable environment for friend and family visits. For more information on the charity please visit www.mwb-leukaemia.org.ukThe team consists of five close friends, Richard Williams, Luke Jones, Stuart Dryburgh, Jonathan “Twin” Soden and Sean Meredith.
The race is an organized event set up by Barcelona rallies and is now in its fourth year. Each year more teams are entering and many charities have benefited as a result. For more information of Barcelona rallies please visit www.barcelonabangers.co.uk/septemberevent/index.php
All donations are welcomed and appreciated. Please dig deep as it really is a good cause.
