Hi,

When i was at University i helped to found a charity - READ International. Now in it's fifth year, my boyfriend Rob has grown READ from a student dream into an incredibly successful national charity. I am so proud of him, of READ and of everything it stands for.

READ delivers student led initiatives to improve access to education. Thier main focus is READ Book Project - great quality disused school books and educational resources are redistributed from the UK to schools to East Africa. Check out the website for more info: http://www.readinternational.org.uk/.

This summer i hope to raise £1000 for READ. As a total novice, i am doing the London Triathlon in August...1.5km swim (in the thames docks!), a 40km bike and a 10km run! As a rehearsal i am doing a shorter triathlon in June (750m swim, 20km bike, 5km run) and as a warm down (?!) i have entered the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October (13 miles!).
