The View from August have the absolute pleasure of headlining a fundraising festival for Royal Blind, Edinburgh. This event is organised by Rosie & Mac McGearey to give back to a charity that has helped their daughter Ciara since she became severely visually impaired after contracting meningitis. Ciara initially attended as a full time student and now attends their transitional services for young adults several times a week.

TVFA singer, Stephen had bacterial meningitis when he was just 3 years old and this cause holds a special place in our hearts. Not only does it hit home a little close, any chance to give back to charities that support children across the world is something we are passionate. Especially if it has a particular connection with Meningitis.
