Fundraising for Exceed Worldwide
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It is my first time to take part in an event as such: I am getting quite excited to be running at this year’s ASICS British London 10k run 2010 on 11 July, which I hope to complete following the next few months of hard training.
At the same time, it’s going to be for a good reason: to raise funds for the projects run by the Cambodian Trust. Their work is aimed to help disadvantaged disabled people to lead an independent life in the community in Cambodia.
The Cambodian Trust’s work, for instance, involves the help to improve people’s mobility by providing artificial limbs and wheel chairs, or giving practical support to get disabled children into school, and much more. With this, I also hope to have one of my mum’s wishes come true - to contribute and provide support for her country of birth. Sadly, I know her home country only through her old childhood memories and her one and only visit she managed to do, whilst she was still with us.
