Re-Cycle is a charity that collect secondhand bikes and ship them to Africa. There are plenty of unwanted bikes lying around in the UK, it is just a case of finding the funds to make sure they are collected and shipped to those who will benefit hugely rather than waiting for them to be thrown in a landfill site to sit in the earth for hundreds of years to come.

Your donation will help Re~Cycle to continue shipping bikes to enable people to lift themselves from poverty. The bikes are given to people in need so that children can travel to school, health workers reach remote regions and people gain access to employment and basic food and water suppliers. Re~Cycle partners with local organisations and groups in Africa who deliver the the projects on the ground, refurbishing, distributing and maintaining the bikes. Bike mechanics and technicians are also trained at the projects, helping to provide local employment and promote this fun and sustainable form of transport across Africa! For more details see www.re-cycle.org.

We will also be updating our website two turkeys and a rope with details of challenges, and also reports on the projects we'll visit in Africa.
So please support this great charity and donate to the cause! We'll be able to report first hand the difference this is making to people's lives!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your donation goes directly to Re~Cycle and if you're a UK taxpayer, make sure you tick the Gift Aid box so your tax can be reclaimed your donation to maximise the amount recieved by the charity.

Thanks!
ness and brett
the greenturkeys

two turkeys and a rope | www.greenturkey.co.nz
