Story

Thank you for visiting Kwik-Fit's fundraising page for Maggies Monster Bike & Hike 2009

Well we finally completed our gruelling task. 7 made it to Silver (55 miles) and 5 completed Gold (73 miles) in 20hrs 56mins.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported Kwik-Fit during the 2006 and 2007 events. You helped us raise £16,712 & £13,088 respectively. With your help we would love to be able to go one better and try and beat previous years amounts. Therefore, please give generously for this fantastic charity and let's help anyone who has unfortunately been affected by Cancer.

The Monster Bike & Hike is appropriately named, it involves crossing the width of Scotland from Fort William to Inverness along the Great Glen Way using manpower alone. The total distance covered by the event is a lengthy 73 miles. There are 3 options for everyone taking part: 30 mile cycle by all, followed by either an 8 mile, 23 mile or 43 mile hike.

Donating through this site couldn't be simpler, is fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way for any monies to be collected: Maggie's Centres will also receive your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
