The 2Simple Trust helps families of children suffering from neuroblastoma. Help is given by the provision of financial assistance for treatment and other needs as well as the funding of research into the disease. This work will shortly be transferred to a new charity set up specifically for the purpose and called The Neuroblastoma Children’s Cancer Alliance.

Story

Two year old Phoebe Macaskill from Inverness has just returned to her ward at Yorkhill Children's Hospital after an exhausting roller coaster time in ITU following the start of her high dose chemotherapy (visit Phoebe's website here for news on Phoebe and details of her appeal).

Because the
3G Challenge didn't hurt enough, I'm now doing the Ullapool Mor Sportive on Saturday 27 September.  This is a monster 130 mile bike race with more than 12,100 feet of climbing, starting and finishing in Ullapool via Scourie and Lairg.

That'll be a long time in (and out) of the saddle, with a worryingly small amount of training behind me and a lot of hill climbing in front, so please feel free to donate to Phoebe's appeal if you missed out on sponsoring me on the 3G Challenge.  If Phoebe doesn't need privately funded treatment (which we all hope) then any funds raised will be directly used to help other children supported by the 2SimpleTrust.

Please pass the word around by cutting, pasting and emailing this link www.justgiving.com/ullapoolmor4phoebe to friends, family and colleagues.

Many thanks

Martin
